Easter, in my native town, Cugir, Romania

60 years old people , in my town have a very old tradition: to prepare Easter wine and bread for the community.

This year I am  60, and as the tradition says, I have taken part to the Othodox Religious celebration!

Almost all the people have beautiful traditional costume, taken from the grandparents or grand-grand-parents, well preserved in wooden chests...

Men costumes have white cotton shirts, sewed in black, and white trousers. Around the body, they wore a

  leader belt, where they have taken their money, like a wallet...

Women wear white large blouses, sewed by black string, a black soft vest, a black scarf on the head ans a large white skirt. On the skirt, there are , in front and on the back, two "fote", black pieces of material,  something like aprons...In the hand, they wore a "traista", a white and black woolen bags...

Like our forefathers, men wear costumes, for the religious celebration...

Romanian clothes

 Funny to wear Romanian clothes.

 The costume is made of a blouse, white one, sewed by hand with black string and a white skirt, with laces on the bottom.

 The costume has a black square scarf...

 On the chest there are some black swewings on white blouse. Actually, in my native area, on the south part of Transylvania, in Alba County, it is only black and white costumes.

 The Blouse's mane is "Ie". It is  a white cotton texture and black motives...

This is the lower part of the skirt, with narrow white lace.

                                                   Finally, spring sprang in my town, too! Trees are in blossom, all kind of colors. It is a delight for eyes and soul!!!

 White and blue tiny flowers...

Orb-pure energy

It had happened in Cugir, in 2012...

One summer day, in the morning, I had taken my camera, and started to have my usual daily walk.

When I had to go through a passing by way, was my first shot. I had no idea about what I will discover at home, when I posted  the photos. A huge orb, pure natural energy , was just hanging in the air. At the end of the passing way, it is a river, and a small bridge is just a few meters lower. The orb was staying above the river, about 6 meters higher. I couldn't see it. Only on my computer, when I analised the photos, I discovered the wonder.
